Peace and Love
Peace and love, seen not too long ago, at the gym:
The wearer of the t-shirt and I were both walking on the track, she ahead of me. The colors and visible words both harkened back to another time. I was anxious to catch up and see what was on the remainder of the t-shirt. I felt a wave of nostalgia for my youth.
A lot of time and experience passed between the age I was reminded of, and where I am today. I had to laugh a bit when I realized my first response to the entirety of the t-shirt was as a gynecologist. I may be retired, but once a gynecologist, always a gynecologist, I guess.
After a second look, I realized the shirt was an ad for “Joe’s Crab Shack.”
Here’s to a fun weekend!
Did you ever get crabs at Dick’s Last Resort? I did once. This T-shirt reminded me of that.
Hi, Tim. No, 🙂 ))))))))))))))))
A very bright and colorful start to my day! 🙂
Hi, Lavinia! I’m glad. It is gray here, and I needed some color.
Thanks for dropping by.
30 degrees and bright sunshine here this morning. I am glad to report the forecast is for mid 50s by afternoon. We are back to grey here tomorrow.
It has been nippy here, but today I woke up to 40 degrees F, sunshine, and I went out and watered the roses in containers. 🙂
hahaha! Cheeky advertising. 🙂
Hi, Mel. I thought so, too! 🙂 ))))))))))
Nice to see you.
I was worried that something happened to you since you haven’t been on Facebook for months! -Aprille
Hi, Aprille! Thank you for coming by today. I’m fine, but there is just a lot going on that requires time. As you know, I can spend a lot of time on FB 😉 but right now other things demand my attention. I’ll be back on FB at some point, maybe late spring or early summer. I really appreciate your leaving a comment here.~ Susan
