Lawn weeds…we may not like them in our yards, but they can be fun to photograph. Over the past week 1.5 inches of rain have fallen at my house. So, my yard has weeds popping up everywhere. As much as I dislike a lawn full of them, I enjoy photographing them. 🙂

They are pretty little weeds. We are getting lots of little flowering weeds after the rain.
Hi, Tim. I think the weeds that grow and bloom in our monsoon season fit the term “survivor” in the desert. 🙂
Oh, lucky you getting rain, hope it was enough for the Summer? These dandelions do make the best of any opportunity, don’t they? I hope you’re well, Susan?
Mel! Hello! Yes, the rain has been good so far. Monsoon season here lasts into September, and I am definitely hoping for more. Dandelions (and other weeds) need so little to grow so well 🙂 ))))))))))) Yes, I am well, thank you for asking. There is just a lot going on around me that keeps me from showing up here more often with new images. Seeing you here is always wonderful. Thanks for dropping by. 🙂
Yes, dandelions are beautiful in their bright color and freshness. This one looks perfect!
hi, Juanita! Yesterday morning was one of those ideal mornings: cloudy, with the clouds acting like a giant umbrella. This bloom was just asking to be photographed. Who am I to say ‘No?’ 🙂 )))))) Thank you for coming by and commenting. 🙂
